Bio – Chronology – Who I am?

Artist since 1995 born in Cali, Colombia. Virginia Hernández, started to promote artists in Cali, Colombia with her first Art Gallery «Luna Rosa» (1995-2002). She did her child school and high school at the French school, Lycée Français Paul Valéry, Cali, Colombia.

Fleeing domestic violence, she arrived to France in 2002 where she continues her Art studies in Paris. Her art, her passion became a tool to heal and to rebuild her new life with her children in her voluntary exile.

In 2004 the French Riviera became her inspiration in Monaco and the Medieval Village : Gorbio where she had her art atelier. “Luna Rosa” became her artistic name. Promoting her art, she started her own exhibitions in Monaco, United States (NY, Portland – Maine) Belgium, Spain, Paris and the French Riviera. Until today, she participated in collective exhibitions in Korea, China, France, Miami, and Barcelona. Today, her paintings are in several collections of the world.

In 2008 «Luna Rosa» began to promote Latin American artists in Europe with her nonprofit Association «COLOMBIArtistica«. A slogan: Art without borders!

In 2012 new artistic projects brings her to Belgium where she opened the Galerie La Spirale in Liège with more international exhibitions inviting artists from the world to participate.

2018-2019. The activity and goals grows, a new period begins in Brussels creating her own art atelier boutique, Art Gallery & events space. Parallel she wrote a trilogy of personal development ( https://alasdelibertadsinvictimismo.wordpress.com/) to overcome domestic violence, burn-out and harassment at work also stereotype violence during daily life . Based on her own testimony of liberation and her walk as an artist and single parent in Europe.
